    Comparative and superlative
    Comparatives
    -Short (contain one syllable): Adj-er + than
    * If it ending in -e: just add-r
    E.g: cute -> cuter
    * If it ending in –y: change-y to i and then add-er
    E.g: lazy -> lazier, happy -> happier
    * If it comes right after a vowel: double the final consonant
    E.g: thin -> thinner, big -> bigger
    -Long (contain more than one syllable):
    more/ less + adj+ than
    E.g: more polluted / less polluted
    Superlative
